It's a haunted house movie. What more can I say? They've been done a million times before - and to death.
I'm not a particularly big fan of these movies. As a general rule I tend to steer clear of them, but I happened across this more or less by accident and decided to give it a watch.
I won't lie; I hated it. I found it boring and, for the most part, infuriating. It felt as though much of the film skirted around the story, as if it was fumbling its way through, waiting for that one element to come along and explain everything something.
Some of the shots were too wide and removed what could have been a moderately creepy moment. The scant cast didn't really have character, and even the ending, while better than the hour or so I'd waited to get to there, was relatively unfulfilled.
For me, the exposition during the end credits would have been better placed somewhere else.
