A little distance makes all the difference.

It’s been a while since I updated my blog with anything. It was a personal choice though, nothing more or less.

Can we call it a cooling off period? That sounds a little better, doesn’t it? In any case, the cooling off period has more to do with allowing the dust to settle between the daily dose of flash fiction and now. And I think it worked. Enough time’s past.

I personally liked the whole idea of producing a story a day, but I also realise it may have been a little much. If you follow me on Twitter (and if you don’t why don’t you?) or Facebook – or even if you’re a member of various G+ groups – you may have had your feeds flooded with notices of various updates.

So I took the step of stalling things for a while. There may be new stories in the near future, but they will only appear perhaps once a month on a standalone page. They won’t be there forever, they’ll be pulled down in order for the new to replace the old, so once they’re up I’ll give them a 30 day period before they’re replaced. Sounds fair, right? Of course.

In the meantime I plan on getting my blog back on track again. But it won’t happen overnight.

I’m not sure if I plan on taking the whole site down and giving it something of a rebirth, but I suppose time will tell.

Thanks for reading.
