Almost there.

There was a point not so long ago when I almost gave up on one particular story for my collection. A time when I just didn't want to write any more because it got a little tough. I could have tossed the whole thing, in fact, but I didn't. And it's almost finished. Somehow, last night, it all fell into place. Every word.

The Forbidden is currently holding it's own and will probably stand somewhere in the region of 28,000 words. Still, I can see light at the end of the tunnel. With luck I can wrap it up this week and move onto the next before editing. I think it will be the longest of four stories in the collection, but it's early days ... so whatever comes afterwards could (no promises here) be just as long.

I just wanted to share that.
