I often found myself with this problem ... until I stopped worrying about it.

Doubt. I'm going to assume we've all been there at some point  when it comes to writing. We worry, we fret, and we sometimes find ourselves stalling because of it. At least, I know I have.

I long since managed to flip the mental switch inside my head so I didn't worry so much about what I was doing. In an article I found on Writer's Digest, Rachel Randall goes some way to explaining what I had long since came to understand (albeit not so detailed) for myself.
