Oh, here's a question for the masses.

Just one more thing while I remember.

How many of you guys out there,  the writer types,  actually try to keep a clean slate while you're working?

I always seem to have something to go at. And right now I seem determined to have a clean slate,  with all my editing work done,  before I feel I can move on to finish my novella.

Please,  someone,  tell me they do the same.

I have a nasty habit of writing simply to get a story out of my head. The actual editing of said story usually comes ... well ... much much later.

A lot later,  actually.
