Something I should have done a long time ago.

It's been a funny kind of week, as well as a long one. So ill make this brief.

I did something this week that I've never really done, I started writing to order. By this I mean I've actually been out there hunting down open submissions.

I've done so much writing in the past, self gratifying little stories for my own amusement, that by the time I hit the 40 or so mark I'd never once considered writing to order.

Sure I may have a story here and there that might fall into the wanted category, but it's not the same. At least for me.

I don't know why I never considered it until now.

There is a kind of nieve innocence there, I think.

Make of that what you will.
