A little foot tapping helps ease the impatience.

Admit it. Go on, I dare you,

Admit that you hate waiting as much as I do. It's one of my pet hates. Especially if I'm waiting on something important.

Take today, for example, I've been waiting on a return e-mail as to whether or not my most recent submission had been accepted for print in an upcoming anthology, only to be told that it's made it through to the second round of readings and I should know by the end of October. Now this is a good thing on it's own, I know, but DAMN if all this waiting isn't making me crazy.

Okay, I'll admit that waiting is a big part of what I do, but that isn't to say I enjoy it. Sure there's a buzz which comes with it, but mostly, yes, I hate it.

At least if I get a Yes or No answer I can move on and try and sell it to someone else, right?

Wish me luck people, and if this makes it into the anthology I suppose I'll have to buy all you good ladies and gentlemen a drink or two.

Thanks for reading.
